Joseph Ettedgui launched his first collection in 1983. Currently led by Susana Clayton, who has held several high profile roles, including design director of womenswear at Givenchy and senior designer at Chloé before joining as creative director in 2018. This London based label is both minimalist and modern, just as its founder intended. Le Figaro fashion editor Godfrey Deeny has described Joseph as: "one of the half dozen greatest fashion retailers in the past half-century".
